For over 25 years BASiX Automation’s panel building shop has supported our primary business which is design and installation of building automation systems.  As our automation business grew, our panel shop output requirements grew from 50 panels a year to several hundred panels per year.

In 2002 state and local inspectors within New England required many panels to be Underwriters Laboratory (UL) listed.  BASiX fulfilled all the requirements to become a UL panel shop in 2003.  Since then every panel produced at BASiX is UL listed.

As the demand for UL panels grew in Mass., N.H. and Maine, BASiX received requests for quotes to build UL panels from companies who had to meet their own local and state UL requirements.  Our experience in the control industry puts us in a unique position to offer design and build assistance for our customers to fulfill their needs for industrial and commercial panels in many industries.

The products we use are manufactured by Square D, Hoffman, Cooper Bussman, Telemecanique and other quality electrical component and control manufacturers.  Electro-mechanical, PLC or commercial control components can be incorporated in the UL panel design to fit the needs of our customers.
